Designed to visually work with the rest of our Architectual System. The 6209 unit is a frame and one full insert.
Grade 2 Braille with rounded edges to protect the finger tips of the user.
Braille dot location consistently positioned at the bottom of the sign, eliminating the need for the non-sighted user to "hunt" to locate the Braille.
Letters and symbols, face and edges, are an integral color. No exposed painted surface.
The sign and letters are all a matte surface.
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1995 requires that all facilities provide tactile signs with raised letters, symbols and Grade 2 Braille.
The 10000 Series exceeds the requirements of the ADA

Letters/symbols embedded, thwarting removal with fingernail, ball point pen, key, etc. No "glued on", surface applied letters, symbols or Braille.
